Create your studio
- Choose Start free trial on alitagallery.com and sign up with your email.
- Under Name your studio., type your studio’s name, tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and choose Create my studio.
- Your studio opens on Set up your studio. Your client site’s address is made from the name, and you can change it later.
Every new studio starts with a 45-day free trial and 10 GB of storage. See Billing and plans for what happens when it ends.
Work through Set up your studio
The setup page (Set up your studio at the top of the Studio page) lists everything a studio can turn on, grouped as Your studio, Bring in clients, Get paid, Book and prepare and Emails, with a count of the essentials you have done. Turn on what you need; everything can be changed later.
Fill in your studio profile
- Open Studio in the top bar (on a phone, Studio settings in the ⋯ menu).
- Under Studio profile, add your Studio name, an optional Tagline (the heading of your collections page), your Website (where “Back to website” leads) and your Contact email.
- Under Client site address, choose your Studio address: clients open your galleries at that address followed by .alitagallery.com. If you change it, your previous address forwards to the new one.
- Under New collection defaults, pick the heading font and accent color new collections start with.
- Save with the bar at the bottom of the page.
What to do next
- Create your first collection, or bring your galleries across from Pixieset with Import.
- Turn the Show collections page switch on if you want clients to see a list of your public collections at your client site’s address.
- Choose which emails you get under Emails on the Studio page, such as a note when a client favorites or downloads.
