Keep the gallery to invited guests, protect it with a password, or make it public so everyone can follow along as photos are added. Who can view, what guests can do, and whether you approve photos are three separate choices.

- Only people with the link or the QR code can open the gallery. The usual choice.
- Password
- Guests need the link and a password or PIN you share with them.
- Public
- Anyone with the address can follow along as photos arrive, like a shared wall during the reception.
- Approve first
- New photos wait for you. Nothing appears until you approve it, whichever of the above you choose.
- Add only
- Guests add photos but see only their own. You see everything.

Questions.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. They scan the QR code or open the link, type their name if they want to, and choose photos. It works in the phone’s own browser.
How do photos end up under each guest’s name?
When a guest adds their name, their photos gather in a collection of their own. They also appear in All guest photos. It’s the same photo, stored once.
Can I check photos before anyone sees them?
Yes. Turn on approval and new photos wait for you. Approve or reject them one at a time or many at once.
What happens when a guest comes back?
Their phone remembers them: “Welcome back, Sarah”, with the photos they’ve added. They can keep adding.
Can our photographer’s photos be in the same place?
If your photographer delivers with Alita Gallery, they can turn on guest uploads for your gallery and choose whether their photos appear beside your guests’.
What does it cost?
An event gallery of your own costs $12.99 per event, paid once, not a subscription. Photographers who deliver with Alita Gallery have event galleries included in their plan.
