Choose what clients can download
- In a collection, open Settings › Download and turn on Allow downloads.
- Under Download sizes, keep Original (full resolution, exactly as uploaded), Web size (1800 px on the long side), or both.
- Turn on Require a download PIN to ask for a 4-digit PIN; Reset PIN makes a new one. Share shows the PIN to copy.
How clients download
- One photograph: the download button on a photo or in the viewer. The first time, the client gives their email (and the PIN if you asked for one) and picks a size, which is remembered.
- On a phone: Save to Photos (iPhone and iPad) or Save to phone, up to 10 photographs at a time.
- The whole collection: Download all lets the client tick the sections they want and a size, then Start download. Large collections arrive as several ZIP files of about 3 GB each, listed with their sizes; the client downloads every file in the list.
Good to know
- ZIP files are made from your originals as they download, so nothing waits to be built.
- Videos always download as the original file.
- Web-size downloads carry the watermark when it is on; originals never do.
- Every download is in the collection’s Activity tab, by email.
