Add videos
Upload them as you upload photographs: Upload photos & videos, a folder, or a drop. MP4 and MOV files in H.264 or HEVC are accepted. On Free and the trial each video can be up to 4 GB; on paid plans only your storage and the collection’s 50 GB limit apply. Long uploads go in parts and resume after a reload.
A poster frame is taken from the video in your browser as it uploads. If your browser can’t read the video, try Safari, or export it as an H.264 MP4.
Choose where videos appear
In Settings › General, Videos places them with the photographs in the photo order, first in each section, or in a Videos tab of their own.
What clients see
- A video plays in the browser’s own player, with full screen. Videos never start by themselves.
- Videos aren’t converted, so a browser that can’t play a format shows the poster with Download to watch (when downloads are on).
- Clients can watch even when downloads are off.
- Animated GIFs up to 20 MB move in the gallery; larger ones show still.
- Videos have no watermark and aren’t counted in a selection.
