Add or import clients
- Open Business › Clients and choose New client. Only a first name is needed; add an email to send them anything.
- To bring a list across, choose Import from CSV and pick a CSV file (save a spreadsheet as CSV first). Columns are matched from their headings; check them, choose whether to add the people as Clients, Leads or Others, and import. Up to 2,000 rows; anyone already in your list is left out.
On Free and Basic, a studio keeps up to 3 clients, invoices and contracts; Plus and above, and the trial, are unlimited. Leads from your inquiry form don’t count.
A client’s page
Each client has one page with their inquiries, jobs, collections, quotes and invoices, contracts, questionnaires, notes and emails. Client page makes a private link of their own where the client sees everything you have sent them in one place, and Make a new link ends the old one.
Take inquiries
On the Studio page, turn on Inquiry form to show a contact form on your client site. Each inquiry becomes a lead in Clients and is emailed to you, with replies going to the person who wrote.
Follow a shoot as a job
- Open Business › Jobs and choose New job, or start one from an inquiry.
- A job moves through Inquiry, Booking sent, Booked, Editing, Delivered and Complete. It moves on by itself at the main moments (paid, shoot day passed, gallery emailed), and Move to sets it by hand.
- Link the client’s documents and collections to it, and add tasks with due dates. Task lists (in the Jobs ⋯ menu) sets the list each kind of shoot starts with.
Reports
Reports shows inquiries, bookings and money collected by month, where inquiries heard of you and each kind of shoot, and Download CSV saves it.
