Create an event gallery
- Open Events and choose New event gallery.
- Type the Event name and, if you like, the Date.
- Choose Who can view the gallery (Public, Link only or Password protected), What guests can do (Add and browse, or Add only) and whether New guest photos appear straight away or wait for you to approve them.
- Choose Create the event gallery.
To add guest uploads to a client’s collection, open the collection’s ⋯ menu and choose Guest uploads. Your own photographs from that collection can then be shown beside the guests’ (Settings › What the gallery shows).
What guests do
Guests scan the code, add their name if you ask for it (and a note if you allow one), and tap Choose photos. Each photograph shows its own progress and can be retried. With Add only, guests see just their own photographs. Up to 2,000 photographs per guest, 50 MB each; guests add photographs, not videos.
Review and moderate
- With approval on, new photos wait under Waiting: select them and choose Approve or Reject.
- Mark the best as Highlight, choose a cover with Make cover, or delete what shouldn’t be there.
- Under Guests, rename, hide or merge guests, and Download all guest photos as ZIP files.
- In Settings, change who can view or what guests can do at any time, or close uploads. Changing the visibility or password ends links already shared.
Couples’ own event galleries
A couple can have an event gallery of their own, with no photographer: choose Create your event gallery on the Event galleries page (alitagallery.com/events) to sign up, and your account opens on your events.
