Before you start
Posting switches on once Alita Gallery’s Instagram app has been approved by Meta. Until then, the Instagram page says it isn’t available yet. You’ll need an Instagram Business or Creator account.
Connect your account
- On the Studio page, under Instagram, choose Open Instagram settings.
- Choose Connect Instagram and sign in on Instagram. You come back connected.
Post
- In a collection, select up to 20 photographs and choose Post to Instagram, or use ⋯ › Post to Instagram.
- Choose a shape for the post: Square (1:1), Portrait (4:5) or Landscape (1.91:1). Drag each photograph to crop it, zoom, and put them in order.
- Write the caption (up to 2,200 characters and 30 hashtags).
- Choose Post now and Post to Instagram, or choose Schedule, pick a date and time in your studio’s time zone (up to 90 days ahead), and Schedule post.
A scheduled post goes out within ten minutes after its time. No copy of a photograph is made while it waits: it is made from your collection when the post goes out. Every post is in the log on the Instagram page. Reels and Stories aren’t available.
Change or cancel a scheduled post
Scheduled posts are listed on the Instagram page under Scheduled posts, with their time, collection and caption. Choose Edit or reschedule to change one, or Cancel to delete it. If a post can’t be made at its time (Instagram disconnected, or a photo deleted), you get a notice and an email saying why, and you can edit and reschedule it.
